Welcome to AGPSC

American Golf Program for Senior Centers (AGPSC) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to establish and maintain a comprehensive instructional golf program for senior centers. It is our plan to connect seniors to what we believe is an exciting and beneficial game. Exciting, because we feel there is a competitive fire that burns in all of us: beneficial because exercise promotes good health. It is our plan to improve hand-eye coordination, increase flexibility, balance, memorization and overall mental and physical well-being of seniors through golf.

Golf is a game played by many. In addition, it is played outside on well-manicured, lush tree-lined fairways and greens. Many golf courses have lakes, streams, creeks, deer, squirrels, birds and rabbits. Some would say it is a stroll through unspoiled nature.

One of golf's fascinating appeals, is the game has no age boundaries. It is not surprising to find a 12 year old and an 80 year old playing a round of golf together. Often is the case, the 12 year old will have a tough time keeping up with the senior.

AGPSC offers Putting Classes, Senior Golf Day Clinics and Senior Business Fairs at no cost to our seniors. American Golf Program For Senior Centers believes in teaching golf from green to tee: this means that we start with putting.
